We study various aspects of the vegetation history of the Galapagos Islands during the last few thousand years, in cooperation with Oxford (School of Geography, http://www.geog.ox.ac.uk/research/biodiversity/lel/). Our specific interest is in floristic change initiated by human arrival to these islands a few hundred years ago. The study is funded by University of Bern and University of Oxford.

Coring a bog on Galapago
