Bachelor and Master's theses in Plant Ecology

The Plant Ecology group is using a broad range of methods – field studies, controlled experiments in growth chambers, greenhouses or in the garden, as well as molecular analyses in the laboratory – to address questions in the following main areas:

• Evolutionary ecology
• Functional biodiversity resarch
• Invasion biology
• Conservation biology
• Global change ecology

We have many ongoing projects in Switzerland, but also several in other countries. We place great emphasis on training students also in general skills such as experimental design, statistics and scientific writing.
